Junior Software Engineer, AI & Low-Code (m/f/d)

Work location: Sirnach | Employment percentage: 80–100% | Start date: to be agreed upon

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for software development who wants to bring entire applications to life using state-of-the-art low-code and AI technology? As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll implement the concepts developed by our consultants and build custom applications using iDIP (low-code)—supported by our AI assistant, which enables the creation of complete applications. You’ll integrate third-party systems and machines and work closely with the consultants and the project team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Developing technical solutions using low-code and AI assistants—you’ll build complete applications with iDIP and our AI-powered app builder
  • Creating the technical concept or supporting the consultant with the technical aspects of the solution concept
  • Integrating peripheral systems via interfaces and connecting machines
  • Testing the developed solutions and assisting with bug fixes through to customer acceptance
  • Close, interdisciplinary collaboration with consultants and the project team

 

Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification; an apprenticeship in computer science with additional training is also acceptable
  • Initial experience with software development projects—recent graduates are also welcome
  • You stand out thanks to your motivation, team spirit, and strong commitment
  • Enthusiasm for development using low-code and AI-powered tools
  • Understanding of interfaces and the integration of peripheral systems
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills
  • Interest in the manufacturing and smart factory environment
  • A plus: Experience in OT (Operational Technology), machine integration, and/or control system development
  • Good written and spoken German skills
