Küng Stapler AG is a regionally active family business based in Schwarzenbach near Wil with a focus on the sale, maintenance and repair of forklift trucks

For 50 years, Küng Stapler AG has been valued by customers for its commitment and reliability - an essential part of this is also thanks to its excellent service.

In order to exploit the potential of digitalization and optimize the service management process, it is to be digitally mapped and simplified without sacrificing quality.

Implementation with iDIP - step-by-step and comprehensive process optimization of service management

The following functions were implemented as part of the project and help to process service orders completely digitally:

  • Consistent digitization: The physical documents required for service management have been digitized with iDIP, so that paper can be completely eliminated.

  • Order management: The orders are accessed via tablets for order processing. Workshop employees fill in the process-relevant data using predefined, digital lists, which makes processing particularly efficient.

  • Safety checks: A safety check can be created for the device within the order. The digital checklist enables employees to tick off the safety-relevant points of the device after the check. Whether the safety check has been passed is highlighted visually so that the status can be seen at a glance.

  • Quality assurance:  An order can only be completed once the employee has answered certain control questions. This ensures that the orders have been completed to the usual quality standard.

  • Progress control: The orders receive a corresponding status for each processing step so that the progress can be seen at any time.

  • Sending the work report: Once the order has been processed, the work report is discussed with the customer on the tablet, digitally signed and sent directly from iDIP by email.

  • Archive: iDIP is available as a central archive for all orders, safety checks and the digital work reports sent at any time and as required.

  • Authorization management: The roles involved in the process can only see and edit the areas that are relevant to their area of responsibility.

The result - seamless service management and digital archive

With iDIP, Küng AG has created the possibility of seamlessly processing orders digitally, which considerably simplifies the manual entry work involved in order processing. As there is no need to rework order documents, time can also be saved. Thanks to digitization, the data is also available as required at all times.
